There is an Alternative to Braces!

Rita Spantideas
I’ve always disliked the way my teeth look when I smile! Two of my teeth stick out like “fangs”. Now, you would think, that at my age I‘ve had plenty of time to get over this imperfect smile. Not so! Every time I smile, I picture those two crooked teeth in my mind’s camera lens. I always worry that there might be something stuck between these teeth and one of these teeth is a total lipstick magnet! It sure doesn’t do much for your confidence.
However, help has finally arrived for some of us that have crooked teeth syndrome. No longer are we all destined to wear conventional braces to correct our syndrome.
Invisalign is here to the rescue! What is Invisalign you may ask? Invisalign is the latest technique in straightening your teeth without braces. It consists of a series of custom made, clear, and removable aligners that gradually move teeth into the correct position. First, here are a few facts that you may want to know.  The movement of teeth with removable clear appliances is not a new concept. Over 730,000 patients have started Invisalign treatment since August of 2008. Not everyone qualifies for Invisalign treatment, but most do. Invisalign has helped people achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted without metal or ceramic braces.
So how does one get started? Basically, there are five easy steps:
  • Consultation with a trained dentist
  • Aligners custom made for you
  • Receive aligners in a few weeks
  • Wear aligners for prescribed time
  • Treatment finished.
  • Beautiful smile!
It’s that easy. You are able to take out the aligners to brush and floss your teeth, so you don’t have to worry about food trappings. The treatment time is about the same as braces, but it’s much more convenient for active adults and teens. We will go over the cost during the free consultation visit. If you have dental insurance, we will research if they have orthodontic coverage. We offer affordable health financing plans, at no interest, to make it financially feasible.
